Back to school

September is a month most people around schooling age dread, it means the start of school! But it doesn't have to be so grim; if like me, you are starting sixth form this September and are able to wear what you want I've found some stylish looks to help get you through the cold months of rain wind and school;

Pretty Prep
If you want to work the Ivy League look then these few pieces will benefit your wardrobe greatly;

This gorgeous "Princess Coat" from Miss Selfridge will make you the envy of all your peers, with the tan lining and gold buttons it exudes classiness and, lets face it, is very cute.

Topshop's "Liberty Print Julia Dress, is sweet but also screams elegance, its small russet and grey flowers set off the tan trim of the coat delightfully, and the kicked out skirt will make you look like the cutest thing to grace your schools halls.

To complete the look are these suede brogues from New Look. These are classic shoes and will look great with even just a pair of jeans and a crisp white shirt if you want to work the androgynous look, but they work even better with this outfit, injecting just a touch of androgyny to this look.

Comfortably Casual
If you just want to relax this autumn/winter here's how to do it whilst still looking devastatingly stylish;

This classic Breton striped jumper from H&M can be worn with tons of different outfits and will keep you snug in the winter weather.

These "Supersoft Skinny" jeans Topshop will see you through the whole school year and ensure you always look great, and paired with the H&M jumper creates a casual laid back feel.

H&Ms knee high riding boots are perfect to finish the look, and give the outfit an air of sophistication and elegance.

Hopefully these couple of looks will help you to put together your back to school outfits and give you some more inspiration!
